Hard, fired kaolin clay that has been crushed to various mesh sizes. White to grayish, its sharp particle shape adds tooth to clay bodies. Used for handbuilding and wheel clay bodies. Increases workability and strength, and reduces shrinkage in proportion to the amount added. |
