A low-temperature ceramic enamel painted on a previously glazed and fired surface, then fired for a second time at a lower temperature, usually as the final firing process. Bright colors like red and orange that would burn out at high temperatures will be maintained in the lower firing (around 1300°/705°C). Often called enamel or china paint. |
